From August 29 to September 5, 2021 in the village of Shchaslyvtsevo, located on Arabatska Strilka spit, hosted the legendary Koktebel Jazz Festival. Thanks to the efforts of the organizers and sponsors, this event can be safely called “Crimean”, because geographically the spit belongs to the Crimean peninsula.
That is why this festival was dedicated to Crimea. For example, Crimean rock was played there. There were also interesting performances by musicians in the style of Jazz & Blues. Jazz Kids children’s residence welcomed the youngest guests of the Fest. There was also an interesting program of film screenings and much more in the residency programs.

For artists, so that they could communicate and practice art together, art residencies were created and joined them to the traditional format of the festival.
The festival was fully sponsored by USAID as part of the implementation of the program to extend the tourist season in the Sea of Azov region (Azov tourism development project). Oleksandr Fainin was the curator of the Jazz Koktebel festival on behalf of USAID. He organized and coordinated financial and logistical matters as well as mentored the organization team.
