On June 10-11, 2021, the International Investment Forum “Southern Development Strategy” was held at the Arabatska Strilka spit of Henichesk district of Kherson Oblast. The purpose of the Forum is the construction and socio-economic development of the temporary border with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the reintegration of labor resources and business. The event was attended by 168 heads of communities, more than 400 guests, and 30 speakers. USAID and 5 ministries of Ukraine became co-organizers of the “Southern Development Strategy”. Oleksandr Fainin, head of the USAID project on the development of tourism in the Azov region, took part in the Forum as a moderator of the tourism and recreation block and a speaker.
