Response times: Indicated response periods refer to acknowledgement, initial feedback or coordination of a request, not guaranteed completion of an assignment.
Billing: Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Unused advisory hours do not automatically carry over to subsequent months.
Scope: Full grant applications, comprehensive business plans, financial models, investor outreach and other substantial deliverables are not included unless separately agreed. Additional work is subject to a separate quotation or written scope agreement.
Engagement: Submitting a retainer enquiry does not create a contractual commitment. Scope, availability and engagement terms are confirmed before work begins.

Scope & Deliverables
Every assignment begins with a clearly defined scope of work. Deliverables, responsibilities, timelines and included revisions are confirmed before commencement. Additional work or material changes of scope require separate written agreement.
Payment Structure
Advisory Sessions and Project Reviews:
100% payment in advance.
Concept Development, Project Structuring
and Funding Strategy Sprint:
normally 50% in advance and 50% before
final delivery.
Monthly Retainers:
100% invoiced monthly in advance.
Signature Services and tailored projects:
individually agreed payment milestones.
Revisions & Change Requests
Defined development packages include one round of revisions unless otherwise specified. Revisions must remain within the agreed scope. New deliverables, substantial restructuring or additional revision rounds are quoted separately.
Timelines & Priority Work
Delivery schedules begin after confirmation of scope, receipt of required materials and the agreed advance payment. Rush delivery may be available at an additional fee, subject to capacity and written confirmation.

How do I order a service?
Select the relevant service and use its enquiry button. We will review your request, confirm the scope, availability and final fee, and provide the next steps for formal engagement. Submitting an enquiry does not create an automatic contractual commitment.
Are the published prices final?
Fixed-price services are offered within their stated scope. Prices marked "From" represent starting fees for limited, clearly defined assignments. Complex requirements, additional research or expanded deliverables may result in a higher quotation. Custom services are priced individually.
Can you deliver a project faster?
Priority delivery may be possible subject to workload and the nature of the assignment. As an indicative guideline, approximately 25% shorter delivery time may involve a 20% surcharge, while approximately 50% shorter delivery time may involve a 35% surcharge. Rush arrangements are not automatic and must be confirmed in writing. Complex and Signature Services are assessed individually.
Do you guarantee grant funding or investment?
No. We provide professional advisory, project development and funding-readiness services, but funding and investment decisions are made by independent institutions, donors or investors. We do not guarantee funding approval, investment commitments or specific financial outcomes.
What happens if my project requirements change?
We review the proposed changes and assess their impact on deliverables, timelines and fees. Any material modification is documented and agreed before additional work begins.
Can unused retainer hours be carried over?
Unused monthly advisory hours do not automatically carry over to the next billing period. Any alternative arrangement must be agreed in writing.
Do you offer discounts?
Our fees reflect the professional time, expertise and responsibility required for each assignment. We generally do not apply standard discounts. Where necessary, we can discuss a reduced scope or phased engagement to accommodate available budgets.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. Fainin Advisory is based in Germany and works internationally with businesses, public institutions, development organisations, NGOs and regional partnerships. Assignments may be delivered remotely, on-site or through a hybrid approach, depending on project requirements.
