🌟 Project Overview
“Realization of a Hero’s Dream” is a heartfelt charitable initiative aimed at supporting Ukrainian Armed Forces heroes —soldiers, medics, and volunteers who have endured captivity or injury. By fulfilling their cherished dreams, the project seeks to provide psychological relief and honor their resilience.
The inaugural beneficiary was Captain Mariana Mamonova, a military medic from the 36th Marine Brigade. Captured in Mariupol and held in the notorious Olenivka camp, Mariana discovered she was pregnant during her imprisonment. Upon her release, she gave birth to a healthy daughter.
Mariana had long dreamed of visiting Portofino, Italy, with her husband—a vision that sustained her through the darkest times. In January 2023, with support from the project, Mariana, her husband, and their baby girl spent 10 restorative days in this picturesque Ligurian town.
